Executive Summary

Examination of fisting injuries and fist chute ailments that negatively impact the health and wellness of fisters. Includes resources available to help fisters affect by injury or ailments.

Injuries

A fisting injury is an incident where damage was sustained to the fist chute during the act of fisting or toy play. The damage may be minor, intermediate, and advanced. Examples include microtears, bruising, and perforations.

Basic toy play and elementary fisting rarely result in injuries to the fist chute, especially with appropriate lubrication and warm up time. Injuries are more common in extreme fisting and intense toy play.

Injuries are also more common when risk tolerance increases due to psychotropic chems, miscommunication, over-confidence in your own abilities, and overconfidence in your partner's abilities.
